I-70 over 65 Widen and Rehab of Dual Bridge

Project Scope

This project, located in Washington County, is for the Phase 2 construction associated with
the
widening and rehabilitation of the existing Dual Bridge Nos. 21118 on I-70 over MD 65 and the
existing Dual Bridge Nos. 21119 on I-70 over CSX Transportation.

The work will consist of the following:

(a) Widening and Resurfacing of portions of I-70 from Bridge No. 21117 to ramp 4 of US 40 (MP
28.25 to 31.96) and resurfacing oframps at the I-70/MD 65 Interchange and the
I-70/US 40 Interchange.
(b) Widening and Resurfacing of portions of MD 65.
(c) Widening and Rehabilitation of Dual Bridge Nos. 21118 on I-70 over MD 65.
(d) Widening and Rehabilitation of Dual Bridge Nos. 21119 on I-70 over CSX Transportation.
(e) Placement of new traffic barriers throughout the project limits.
(f) Construction of Stormwater Management measures associated with the overall project
improvements.
(g) Construction of drainage structures associated with the Stormwater Management measures.
(h) Signing and lighting improvements associated with the overall project.
(i) Placement of pavement markings in areas where paving is performed.
(j) Landscaping associated within the project limits at the I-70/MD 65 Interchange.
