US Rte. 29 BRT CMAR

Project Scope

This project provides for the implementation of a bus rapid transit (BRT) system along 14-miles of US Rte. 29.  The project includes new frequent all-day BRT service operating in existing travel lanes and shoulders, construction of eleven architecturally designed stations along the corridor, purchase and installation of off-board fare collection equipment, and improvements to landscapes, sidewalk, and bicycle facilities to facilitate station access.
