Father Hurley Boulevard Emergency Culvert Repairs

Project Scope

Emergency repair project for a road collapse on Father Hurley Boulevard in Montgomery County.  Project consisted of an emergency repair of a large sinkhole due to a collapse of a 66” diameter pipe under the roadway.  Implementation of a temporary pump-around for the stream and then grouting/filling the existing pipe was the first step of this emergency repair.  Due to multiple utilities in the median of this 4-lane including a 12’ gas main and 16” water main, a new pipe was needed and had to be installed using jack and bore methods.
