North Charles Street Reconstruction - Concrete General, Inc.

Project Scope

Reconstruction of North Charles Street from 25th Street to University Parkway Project. The reconstruction consisted of roadway improvements of nearly ½ mile of roadway from 25th Street to 29th Street and over ½ mile of roadway improvements from 29th Street to University Parkway. These improvements addressed both geometric and safety concerns for both vehicular, bus, bicyclists and pedestrians through the John Hopkins University (JHU) Campus. The work included full-depth concrete and asphalt pavement, concrete curbs and sidewalks, street and pedestrian lighting, storm drainage systems, underground electrical duct bank, signing, traffic signals, landscaping, relocation of bus stops and pads and public art area for JHU and the City of Baltimore.
